Add new category to multiple posts

  Hi

  I would like to add multiple posts to a new category. The only way I find to do this is to edit each post and add the category in the edit window. Is there a ‘bulk’ way to do this on a wordpress.com hosted blog? There seem to be plugins for self hosted instances.

  Yes, of course. You can bulk edit multiple posts in the WP Admin Dashboard Edit Posts Screen. Here’s more on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit

  Since my blog is a picture blog (diecastcharger.wordpress.com), it would be very handy for this task to be able to see the featured image in the all posts list.
  Is that possible on wordpress.com?

  No it isn’t, and I agree that would be a great feature. You might want to suggest it in the Ideas forum: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas#postform
