Add new content area on home page – Edin Theme

  I’m having an issue with the home page of my site and was hoping someone could help me:

  1. When I put text on my home page, it appears in the header image. I don’t want the text to appear there – I want it to appear below the image.

  2. If that’s not possible, is there a way to add another content area between the header image and the 3 featured content widgets below?

  Hi there, we could move it down below the image, but this gets quite tricky as we have to use position: absolute, which means it loses its relationship to all other page elements and it becomes quite a challenge to get it to work on all screens. Can you post the test you wish to put below the image and I can see what I can do for you.

  We also have some ways to add text via CSS, but it is generally for only adding a few words. I’ll not know which will be best till I see the text you wish to add.
