Add new plug-in
-
Excuse me…
I just tried to add new plug-in for protect my posts from copy paste. But there’s no ‘add plug-in’ in my menu. What should I do? -
The short answer is WordPressdotcom users have a lot of plugin capabilities already built into the platform. We cannot upload 3rd party plugins. You can find more information by clicking on either of the two tags I’ve added to the Tags section of the sidebar.
On a side note, there is no real “copy/paste” protection on the Internet. It just doesn’t work. If you really don’t want people to have access or copy something from your website, don’t upload it. Add a copyright notice on your site’s sidebar or footer. More suggestions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/prevent-content-theft/
If you find your content has been reposted elsewhere on the web without your permission, you do have recourse under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and can file a DMCA report with the offending site’s webhost. You can learn more about that here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act

Here is some information about plugins ..Plugins are tools used to extend the functionality of the WordPress platform. However, they are only applicable to self-hosted blogs and web sites using the WordPress.org software. Plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons.

You’re welcome, but I think I needed to plug in more coffee this morning before I wrote my above answer.
WordPressdotcom SITES (not users) have a lot of plugin capabilities already built into the platform. :)
Best wishes.
