Add New Post – No Page Attributes
-
I’ve just tried adding some new posts (not pages) and the ‘Page Attributes’ has disappeared. There is now just a side bar on the right with ‘Categories’ on it.
I’d really appreciate if someone could point out what I’m doing wrong. Thanks in advance.Stephen.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Pages have “page attributes, posts do not.
Look down below the text box and see if the other modules that are typically to the right are down there. If they are, drag them back up and to the right of the text area and move them around until the outlined grey box appears and then release the mouse button.
If the modules are not there (publish, etc.) then to to the upper right of that page, click screen options and then check the modules that are missing. You may have to rearrange them by drag and drop after adding them back in.

Thanks for your reply. The modules are not below the text box. I’ve clicked screen options on the upper right of the page. There then appears:
Likes and Shares; Categories; Post Tags; Excerpt; Send Trackbacks; Discussion; Slug
Nothing about ‘Page Attributes.’

There’s something else. I have other posts on the following directory.

As you can see, the parent directory of this post should be ‘…%/postcards.’ On the ‘Page Attributes’ of this post it now shows ‘no parent.’

It appears this problem appeared because the pages were under ‘draft’ status. So if anyone else has this problem, now you know.

From what I can see of your blog, you have no Posts at all. You have Pages:

and sub-Pages:
But all of your sub-Pages go to a 404.
Posts do not have Parents.
