  Hi,

  No. A version of Ample is available for WordPress.org sites, not for WordPress.com sites. Only the optional themes included at My Sites > Personalize > Themes, or in the WordPress.com Themes Showcase are available for WordPress.com sites.

  @nvbensemble: If you let us know a little about the features you’re after and what your site’s going to be about then I’d be happy to offer some suggestions from our repository.

  I took a look at Ample’s demo site and recommend you taking a look at Shoreditch and Sequential as starting points. They both support full width featured images and are split up into different sections on the home page, similar to Ample.
