Add non-music audio to sidebard?

  I want to add a short voice clip (a la “Hi this is me, let me tell you about blah blah…”) to the sidebar, but not sure if it’s possible.

  I understand about space upgrades, and no java/security, and have successfully used [audio=…] in posts, as well as boxnet for music audio in sidebar — not looking for music or playlist.

  Just need to have users see “Click here to listen to a message from Suzie” and for the mp3 voice file to play (no, I don’t want a link to download either).

  Here’s exactly what I want… but I’m not wanting to use this on my pay/.org WordPress — I need it on my nice freeeeeee WP!

  I think the only way is to link to the audio file in a text widget. When people click on it, it would play the file.
