add own photo for theme

    hi

    i am using misty theme but want to put my own photo- as far as i can see I am only ‘allowed” to add photo as my avaar and to specific posts- is this true or can I add my photo instead of theme photo? And how?

    You can add a custom header image of your liking at appearance > header. My recommendation is to always size the image to the exact size called for for the header. You will get better results than if you use the built-in header crop feature.

    Also, optimize the image so that the file size is under 50k so that it will load quickly.
