Add paypal link to free site?

  Hello, we have a free website for a non-profit society (www.kelownaridingclub.com). We are trying to add in a link to have memberships paid via PayPal – is this possible to do with the free site?

  Hi @spirit2014

  What I would suggest is to include a normal text link to a Custom Paypal Payment Page. From there it will link you to Paypal and you can customize there for all payment types. That will be easier than integrating everything into WordPress (which I’m not positive you could do with a free account).

  Visit https://www.paypal.com/customize for help on setting up a custom payment page.

  Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal button on a WordPress.com hosted blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  Your site is not hosted by wordpress.COM and there are important differences between wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG software installs.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
