Add photo to homepage

  Dear,

  I have been trying for hours to set a photo on my homepage. I have also been looking on the net but I didn’t find the right answer. Strange it happen to me, normally I have not so long problems to fix something.

  That’s a bit unique to your theme.

  First, you need to choose your featured category via Appearance -> Theme Options on your blog’s Dashboard, then you’ll need to publish posts within that category with featured images.

  Featured Images

  Basically, your theme chooses featured images from posts within the featured category to display in that spot.

  Dear,

  I really try to fix that with following your instructions. I have to say I can’t fit a photo in my homepage…
  No idea what I need to do ?

  I’ve tried to do what you have said, but no photo in the front page as you can see…

  It looks like you still need to add a Featured Image to your “Home” post. To do this, go to your Dashboard -> Posts -> Edit page for “Home.” On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see a “Featured Image” module where you can click on a link to “Set Featured Image.”

  Once you’ve uploaded a “Featured Image,” click on the Update button. For full instructions, please see:

  it worked!!! Superbe, thanks so much.

  But I have a final or last question, do I have always two of the same photo’s on my homepage if I only upload one?
  Is it inevitable?

  Glad to hear that! And yes, I’m afraid that in the Structure theme, featured posts will display in both the “Featured” area and below, in the main postings area.
