Add plugins without a plan?

  Hi! I manage a website for a client and am currently building another for her. Her previous website does not have a wordpress plan, manages her domain through GoDaddy, and still has JetPack and plugins. How do I get that for my new site?

  Hi there,

  You are able to access and manage your site content on your WordPress.org site via the Jetpack plugin. If you want to manage your site hosted on GoDaddy from you WordPress.com account, you’ll want to install a plugin called Jetpack:

  But if you want to create a WordPress.com website and use plugins, you ‘ll need to upgrade to BusinessPlan. Plugins aren’t available with the free plan.

  Please be aware of the two different platform WordPress has. One is WordPres.com hosted by WordPress.com and the self-hosted site using the open source WordPress.org software.
