  how do I add a poll to front page?

  New post > Add Poll – To find the add poll icon, go near the upload/insert area, skim over it until you find it.

  Should I be able to add a poll in any template? Or is it possible that polls only work in some templates?

  They should work in all templates. Can you give us a link to your blog, please?

  The only one who has provided a link is carocat, and she did it by following these directions:
  “How to make your name link to your blog:
  Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.”

  Adding a poll is a 2 step process: create poll with the poll button on the dashboard menu on the left. Insert poll with the insert icon on the top of the post or page editor.
