Add Poll to a post

No sidebar polls yet but we know they are wanted.
You can always create a Polls page and link that from the sidebar.

mark,
that’s cool! :Dbut it would have been better if the comments on the poll could be written on the embedded poll, and not in a polldaddy page for the poll.

A couple of remarks. First, the WordPress.com shortcode shows up as one of the options when you create a poll at PollDaddy. Second, you can see a sample poll at:

It does – but I wanted people to know this which is why I posted this. After all, if people didn’t know, they wouldn’t have gone there.

Seems that we need a poll about pimping posts in the forum
Make that “Seems that we need a poll about pimping posts about polls in the forum”.

Mark,
Thanks for the post, which has seeded the discussion. Two of us have already started filling in the details. Without the original post, we wouldn’t have been able to find the details. -
Yep, Mark rocks! :D
I remember his searchme post. Although I couldn’t get it to work, I am still crossing fingers. He finds such delicious things! Mmmm…..

A week ago, just after Mark announced this, sanjidabd and I each wrote a post with an embedded poll. You can find the links in our above replies in this topic.
My poll, which I’ve just closed, drew 11 votes: 9 indicated that (email visible only to moderators and staff) met their needs, while the other 2 were abstentions (i.e. they were from people who don’t use polls, rather than from people who use polls and were disappointed with PollDaddy). sanjidabd’s results are similar, quite possibly because people particularly interested in the topic voted in both polls. -

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to have a protected poll, I mean, with password or, at least, not public, hosted by this Polldaddy. Thank you.
-
Hello mipspecialprojects,
I don’t believe that is possibly through Poll Daddy,,, =)~Teck~
