Add Post without Updating RSS

  Is there a way to add a new post without updating the RSS?

  In other words, can you add a post without having a copy of it sent to everyone who subscribes to your RSS feed or who receives your posts by email?

  If not… is there a way to have your default feed only accept posts from specific categories?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
