Add search box in a page

Hello everyone,
I would like to create a listing page featuring some cloth companies. I would like then to add “attributes” to each company (example: shoes, pants, t-shirts) and to create a “search by product box” where the user can select, for example, shoes, and all the companies present in the listing that sell shoes will appear.

Category pages organized in a custom menu is not precisely what you’ve described, but it’s the closest thing available for a WordPress.com site that I can think of.
If you’re using categories rather than tags or some other type of differentiating label, then another option would be to place a categories widget in a sidebar widget area.

There, they have a “category search box”. Any idea how to implement that?

You’re welcome. The example you’ve provided looks almost exactly like a WordPress.com Categories Widget, configured to display its links in a drop-down menu, but it can’t be added to a page. I think you would need to switch to a self-hosted site in order to accomplish that with WordPress. I’m unaware of any way to insert a drop-down menu into the content of a page or post on WordPress.com. Some WordPress.com themes have front page widget areas other than footer widget areas, which are very common.
You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right to call for staff attention. Staff may be able to suggest something that I’m unaware of.

See for example Sela. A categories widget, configured to display a drop-down menu, may be displayed in one of the front page widget areas, just below the featured image, on a page with the Front Page Template assigned, on Sela.

As I mentioned above, I’m unaware of any way to insert a drop-down menu into the content of a page or post on a WordPress.com site, regardless of the theme applied. However, the WordPress.com categories widget looks and may be easily configured to behave just like the drop-down menu labeled “Categories” in the example you provided. Also, on some themes widgets may be displayed on a page with a certain template assigned. A widget or groups of widgets will display on such a page without them being inserted into the content of the page. The best example I found in a brief search is the Sela theme.
