  Can I add a shopping cart to my existing wordpress site? I am selling my own products only, no reselling. What is the best plugin or product to use for this?

  No, you can’t. It’s not a matter of permission in this case: it’s that ecommerce technology is more complex and introduces serious potential security risks. When you’re hosted here, that means everyone on the same theme shares the same risks. So we have very tight security controls. All we can use here is the Paypal Donate button http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  If you’re self-hosted as it appears, you should be able to do it, but you’ll have to ask your web-host what they support.
