Add social media icons

    Hello,
    I would like to see WordPress add social media icons for a couple of platforms.

    The two I am interested in are Groups.io and Matrix.org. You should probably look at some of the Twitter replacement platforms as well.

    I know I can add them as generic links, but this doesn’t look very good.

    Or, is there a way I can add them myself?

    We do not offer icons for all services, but I will share that feedback with our dev team, thanks.

    I noticed that mrickey.com is upgraded to the business plan, which gives you the ability to install any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” and in this case there are quite a few social icon plugins available that offer their own blocks and methods for displaying icons that is separate from our integation.

    Generally those offer similar functionality (a way to display icons on your site) but may differ by individual features, such as the ability to add custom icons, or more style options to choose from, etc.
