Add Testimonials to Sela Theme
-
I am very new to WordPress and I am trying to navigate my way around. I currently have my site set to private as I am trying to build it up and get it ready to go live. I have two testimonials that I have typed up and I want them to be displayed either on the side or have a link in my main menu that I can direct people to them but I don’t know how to do that. I’ve gone to Testimonials>Add New and put them there. Because they’re the only things I have published they show up on the home screen but that’s not where I want them. I’ve tried Google and looking the the forum and nothing seemed to be able to answer my question. Please help!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A Sela testimonial editor is basically the same as a page editor, but it displays in pages set to the Front Page template. Options for keeping the testimonials off the front page include:
1. If you don’t want the testimonials to appear on the front page, but still want to use that template for the front page, then you can put the testimonials in pages — switch to text mode and copy and paste them — then link to them in your header navigation bar or in a sidebar widget. You can create a parent page titled testimonials, if you like, with two children.
2. Use a different template for the static front page, none of the other options displays the testimonials. Testimonials also display on the testimonials archives page. Yours is https://fitnesswithmyranda.wordpress.com/testimnonials/. Or put them in pages as in #1 above.
3. Display your posts on the front page, and link to the testimonials on the archives page, or as in #1.
4. Switch to a different theme which doesn’t have testimonials editors, and proceed as in #1.
