Add text block to footer

    Hi,

    Just changed to the Cubic theme and I want to add a block to the footer area. Specifically I want it to have some text or maybe formatted as a quote.

    I have created a quote block but can’t see how to add to the footer area rather than the sidebar. This theme doesn’t even have a sidebar as far as I can see?

    Thanks for getting in touch. It’s not possible to add a custom footer on a free site. The options that you have can be found by going to https://braindumpdejour.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php and clicking on Site Identity. Then scroll to the bottom of the left hand side of the page to find Footer options.

    A custom footer could be added through CSS which is advanced customization included in our premium plan. This plan would also give you the ability to register a custom domain, increase your storage, and utilize our live chat support team.
