Add text excerpt to the main page.

  Hello, I would like to know if WordPress.com can ,,pin” a part of my post (with photo + excerpt) on the home page? So that after clicking you can read the entire entry on the new page. Thanks to everyone for the advice!

  You can set a post to be “sticky” if you want to highlight a specific post:

  https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#sticky-posts-posts-only

  Then, you want to make sure you’re using Excerpts – you can read more about those here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/excerpts/
