Add text in the footer

  Hi,

  I am using Confit theme by Automattic and was wandering whether I can remove that information from the footer and replace it with our University’s disclaimer and CRICOS code information?

  I would of course leave “Blog at WordPress.com”.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WP doesn’t allow removing or modifying the footer credits.
  You could add your own info to the existing footer, but only if you have the Custom Design upgrade. If you don’t have the upgrade, you need to switch to a theme that supports footer widgets.
  If you don’t want to switch to a different theme, then you can only add your disclaimer etc in the sidebar.
