Add This! social bookmarking button and rss suscribe button
-
I have added the “Add this.com” button as advised above to my blog. One button on the side bar and one on my last post. I don’t know if I did it right, it looks ok. Could somebody try it and tell me if it works the way it should.

To: Anyone who adds that button to their blog
You may want to know it is owned by: Yahoo. Yahoo harvests, saves, disseminates, sells personal information on all of its users. Who gets the information they collect?1. Their advertisers
Corporations who advertise on their websites; businesses that pay Yahoo for the info so they can inturn “deliver” ads on a page they think will ‘appeal’ to you, based on what they know about you –from Yahoo.2. The US feds
When the White House occupant’s ‘general’ Gonzales sent out gross, mass search warrants on search engines: Google refused to turn over any info on users, what users looked at, e-mail addresses or any thing. Yahoo didn’t mind, they handed over personal info on millions of users, their searches and more –even though: the search warrant was vague, failed to name a single person/target, specific dates; was illegal, directly violated US Constitution and The Bill of Rights. Oh well.Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Google DID turn over that information, although they stalled, if memory serves. And of course MSN did as well.

I’ve coded a greasemonkey script that will add the social bookmarking buttons with working links to your blog post and does same thing as some social plughins for wordpress.org blogs. It may be an alternative for Addthis or you can use these buttons with addthis.
You can check it(also i use this in ma blog) at—

yahoo’s writing in footer of their websites that they are using our personal information….
-
I have the buttons (rss and bookmark) on my side bar text widgets.
Now how do I add the button to each post?
AddThis site says “Upload it into your wp-content/plugin directory”.Thanks.
-
This cannot be done automatically here. We do not have plugins at wordpress.com. This means we must simply add the code to each post.
-
Thanks.
How will I see the button instead of the whole code? I was pasting the code in the post.
-
When using the text rich visual editor the button code must be entered when the “code” tab is in use and not under the “visual” mode. See icon #17 http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/
