Add to Any or similar subscribe widget

  I want to add a widget to make it easy for people to subscribe to my blog. It seems like the “Add to Any” widget is the answer. I downloaded it. However, the installation instructions seem to be for users of wordpress.org who are running software on a server.

  1. Upload add-to-any-subscribe to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Presentation -> Widgets and click Add next to “Add to Any Subscribe”

  How can I add a widget like this if I’m using WordPress.com? I’ve been able to add other simple widgets like blog roll and archives but I can’t figure out how to add a widget to help people subscribe. Help!

  Yes, those are WordPress.ORG instructions. If they don’t provide WP.COM instructions, you’re probably out of luck.

  Subscribe? You mean via RSS? Why not just add the RSS widget and put your own feed in it? Or put it in a text widget in accordance with the instructions in the FAQ.
