  Hi there,

  It is possible to set up simple payments on your WordPress site by using the Payments Block as explained here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/

  note that this does not include a shopping cart, so it’s really just a way to purchase a single product like a book.

  If you need something more like traditional ecommerce, with a shopping cart, integrated checkout, shipping and tax calculations, etc., that is not built in to WordPress.com, but can be added by upgrading to our Business Plan and adding the WooCommerce plugin.
