add user

    I know how to add a user to the website but is there not an option to add a user/developer to my wordpress.com account as a whole so they can manage my domains, dns etc ???

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    It wouldn’t let me edit the question so I’m adding more here. The ai support told me:

    1. Go to your WordPress.com dashboard.
    2. Click on the Users menu on the left sidebar.
    3. Click the Add New button to create a new user.
    4. Enter the Username and Email address of the user you want to add.
    5. Select the role for the user. If you want them to have full access to manage your domains and DNS, you can assign them the Administrator role.
    6. Click the Add New User button to invite the user to your WordPress.com account.

    The user will receive an invitation email with a link to set their own password and join your account. Once they accept the invitation, they will have access to manage your domains, DNS, and other settings.

    The problem is there is no ‘Users’ menu on MY left sidebar https://snipboard.io/ke8fZb.jpg

    Please note that we can only help with WordPress.com sites on this forum.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.

    Can you share the link to your site so that we can confirm if it’s indeed hosted on WordPress.com? For self-hosted WordPress.org sites, you’ll want to post on the WordPress.org support forum instead.

    ???? This is wordpress.com and the site is not created yet so there is no link. I’m asking about the dashboard and showed you a screenshot. You can see by the screenshot it is wordpress.com

    You can only add users after a site has been created. Please create your new WordPress.com site by going to this link: https://wordpress.com/start

    The screenshot you shared does not show a “Users” section on the left because you are on your WordPress.com profile. The Users menu will show up when you have a WordPress.com site, and you’re on the “My Sites” section of the dashboard. Without a WordPress.com site on your account, the menus to add users (among other things) will not show up.
