add user: says there is no user with that address when there is

  I have created a private blog. I have added several contributors with no problem.

  I am having trouble adding one user who already has a wordpress.com blog. When I go to Users>Add User> and put in her email address I get a message saying there is no user with that email address. She says this is the address where she receives messages from wordpress.com about her blog. She also said she recently changed the address associated with her wordpress.com account. I tried to add both email address and got the same message each time.

  I do not want to invite her to create a new blog-free account because she will have to log in and out of two accounts all the time – one to post on the private group blog I have created and one to post on her own public blog.

  Any ideas greatly appreciated

  Probably ask the Staff for help: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  They can look in the back and see what might be gumming thing up.
