add widget

  I try to add some widget in my sidebar but what I add removes the other sidebars widgets like Categories or Pages.
  I dont want to remove them but add one available widget like Links.

  Any help?
  P.S : I use Koi Theme

  When you put a widget in the sidebar for the first time it wipes out the default widget set. It’s fine, just add them back in again, whichever ones you want. I recomment: Recent Posts, Recent Comments, Categories, Archives, and Search.

  Thanks raincoaster I tried what you said. and now another question is that how I can add another links to my weblog? Links widget is just link to my own weblog ….how I can link to other weblogs.

  P.S : I have a free domain from wordpress

  I want to know how I can add a widget created from another website?
  I tried text widget since it contained HTML, but that didn’t work, it just showed the HTML and didn’t convert it to the actual widget.
