-
Hi,
Please how can i add widget to my Widgets list under Appearance in the Dashboard ?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To use the widgets provided by WordPress.com see here for the full selection:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/widgets-sidebars/
Note the text widget here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/If the widget is an advertising code, affiliate marketing code, iframe code or a JavaScript code you cannot use it on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
-
-
You cannot add any widget there.
You can only use a text widget to copy and past pure HTML code (not advertising code, affiliate marketing code, iframe code or a JavaScript ) into it. -
What exactly is this widget you want to add. Please provide a link to wherever you found it online. Or post the widget code into a comment box here between open
and close
tags.

Will you please post to the support forum in your mother tongue like I asked you to before?

I did before 4-5 days but no one answer.I want to say : thanks alot.
-
I’m sorry there is no answer for you. I speak only English.
What is the name of this widget you refer to please?
Where do you find it online ie at which URL?
What does it do and why do you want to use it? -

For pity sake here we go again. That’s a plugin that can only be used on WordPress.org installs. As we Volunteers have told you now more than once we do not provide support for WordPress.org installs here at WordPress.com. That support is found exactly where we told you it is found previously. http://wordpress.org/support/
I am choosing not to answer any more threads you post here.
Best wishes and good bye. -
I don’t need support for wordpress.org
I need to add this plugin to my wordpress.com
I don’t know this is wrong. -
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/NOTE 1: There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes this.
NOTE 2 : If you are referring to a WordPress.ORG install then you are posting to the wrong support forum. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Iam sorry , But i don’t know this is impossible at add plugin from wordpress.org to wordpress.com.
How can i know ? -

WordPress.com is a hosting platform that makes it easy for anyone to publish online. You don’t have to download software, pay for hosting, or manage a web server. WordPress.com has hundreds of themes, and includes the functionality of many plugins, but you can’t upload your own plugins or themes.
WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database.
Read the differences. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thank you so much for all the information you have provided.
Have a nice day , and Iam sorry.
Best regards -
SIGH … I’m sorry too because you keep mixing up WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I think you should stop everything to do with WordPress>ORG.
Instead use the step by step tutorial WordPress.com Staff have linked to the bottom of your Admin page at http://learn.wordpress.com
