  Hi,

  I would like to suggest WordPress.com plugins team to add the WordPress Rest API plugin in your free version of wordpress.com.
  Which can be downloaded from below link:

  The idea behind addition of this plugin in free version is, it would be beneficial to many Mobile Application Developers to get JSON response directly from any wordpress blog and build custom mobile applications with it, which will make wordpress.com too much popular for complete CMS package.
  Hence requesting to add this plugin in free version.
