Add your bio to the sidebar.

Hey everybody. I’m a super noob to wordpress and I apologize in advance if this is obvious, but I’d just like to know how I could add my bio to the sidebar just underneath where it says “The offcial blog…” I figured out how to add a link to the bio, there, but I’d rather that my picture just appears there with my info. how could i do this? thanks!

Normally we place a very brief bio here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile

We can then use these widgets for sidebar display:

In most themes there is no such feature and the data derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile > About You (section) does not appear on the blog, it appears appears on your Gravatar profile page only.
