  • Hi there,

So you want to link to specific headings on the current page? To do that you’ll use something called page jumps.

First you’ll need to add a unique id to the heading of each section. In the editor, click on the heading, and in the block settings on the right, click on Advanced. Add a unique id to to the HTML Anchor box.

For the id, make sure to use only lowercase letters and hyphens. No spaces.

Next, edit your site’s menu, add a custom link to the menu, and for the link URL, each time use # followed by your id, e.g. #heading-1

Also note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
