Added as an Admin to New Blog/Cannot See on Dashboard

  Hello!

  I am working on a group project for a class and we need to put together a blog, and work on it collectively. Another member of my group started the blog and invited me as an Admin. I got the email from WordPress saying I had been added as an Admin, I clicked on it and it took me to the blog (okay great! the blog exists!). But unfortunately when I got to my dashboard the blog does not show up at all. Does anyone know why? Or how I can fix this?

  I have two other blogs associated with this one WordPress account.

  Please look at the top gray colored navigation bar and locate “MyBlogs”. Does the blog appear there in the dropdown? if so click the blog title link.

  I also note that the free hosted wordpress.COM blog linked to your username is empty so I’m wondering if you are actually referring to a wordpress.ORG install and not to a free hosted wordpress.COM blog. Please read this entry to determine which of the two you are referring to.

  It is for a wordpress.com blog. It does not appear in my gray drop down navigation bar titled “My Blogs”. I received an email from WordPress saying I have been added as an Admin, but I cannot figure out why it has not been added to my blogs. Do I need to do this manually somehow? I am very confused.

  Look closely at the email. Is there a link to click in it? If so so click it please.

  When I click on the link it takes me to the blog I need to add, but once there I don’t see any options for how to do that.

  Can i just say this exact same thing happened earlier today when i added my friend as an author on my blog. It took ages for her to get my blog in her dropdown, but logging out and clearingcahce etc seemed to work. Worth a try?

  I have logged out and logged back in, but have not tried clearing the cache yet. Maybe i’ll try that, thanks.

  Okay, just emptied the cookies, and also tried using both IE and Safari, no dice. I don’t think this is a browser issue. Very bizarre. Hmmm…. I can ask my teacher tonight, although I am not sure she will know what the problem is. There may be someone else I can talk to ask well.

  They do have a long queue of support tickets to answer so I recommend that you do not hold your breath.
