Hi
Need some urgent help please. I´ve added afew categories to my blogg, but these categories don´t appear under the “attributes”, when i want to add different pages to these categories. How do i change an existing page with sub-pages listed directly under, to a drop down facility ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to assign at least one post to a category and publish it before the Category will display.

Hi
Sorry about the “urgent” comment, and not posting the URL.
The category/post hierarchy issue i´m having difficulty with, was adding existing pages/subpages to these categories. I understand that each category has to have atleast 1 post published, before appearing in the attributes, but what about the page-to-category attribute allocation ? Guess i must´ve missed something when adding categories via widgets, to the sidebar. The URL for the blog : http://karpen.wordpress.com/
Cheers

You have said: Guess i must´ve missed something when adding categories via widgets, to the sidebar.
We do not add any data to widgets. We do not add Categories to the Categories widget so let’s be clear about that. The data the widget displays comes from the Categories we assign to posts.
> Appearance > Widgets
drag and drop the categories widget into the sidebar where you want it
click to open and then configure the data display choices. The widget only displays the data and we have the options of configuring it to:
Show as a drop down
Show post counts
Show hierarchy

I am having a problem. My URL is EmilyReady.wordpress.com. If you notice where I have the heading “Pages” to the right of the screen…well I would like the titles under there to have “sub” titles, meaning I want to place other posts in a hierarchy by having them indented. I explained this poorly. The exact format I am trying to achieve is evident in wmartin4.wordpress.com. I want to set my page up the way he has. Do you know how he did that?

He made sub-pages. As far as I can tell you don’t have any sub-pages. When you create a new page, make sure to choose a Parent page, just as you would a parent category. Then it’ll come up that way in the widget.
