Adding 4th site to account.

    I want to add this existing domain and site to my existing WP account without charge. Yet only alternatives available are for paid plans.

    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

    Hi @michaelshepherd460, can you clarify whether you’re are adding it to an existing site or creating a new site with that name?

    You would need hosting for a new site, and to host a custom domain with a site on our service, you do need a paid hosting plan.

    If you have an existing paid site hosted here, you’d use these steps to connect another domain:
    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

    If your sites are with other hosts, I’d recommend reaching out to them to see what steps they recommend to connect an additional domain.

    Hi, Thanks for responding. The problem is not hosting it is editing. I have several sites hosted elsewhere (Hostinger), including this one. I edit three sites on WP. The editor I use on Hostinger for greekislandtravelguide.com (Zyro) is no longer free so I want to recreate it as a WP site. I have added WP to my domain hosting but can’t find how to edit on WP as I do my other three sites.

    These support forums are for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since you’re using the WordPress software but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

    To note, both WordPress and Zyro are content management systems (CMS), not “editors”. That means that if you want to use WordPress for your greekislandtravelguide.com website, you will need to set up a new install of WordPress and recreate that site in the WordPress CMS.
