Adding a badge to sidebar
-
I know these questions come up all the time, but I can’t seem to find one where the coding looks like the one I want to use. Maybe it won’t work with wordpress but I honestly don’t know.
I want to put a widget from lookbook.nu onto my blog, here is the coding<!–BEGIN PROFILE WIDGET–><script src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js” type=”text/javascript”></script><script src=”http://lookbook.nu/widget/profile.js?id=186811&width=skinny&align=center&stats_fans=1&stats_looks=1&stats_loves=1&stats_karma=1&hash=29129fddd55436aa0f3932bee8b6c3e5″></script><div id=”profile_widget_container_186811″></div><!–END HYPE WIDGET–>
I’ve tried putting it in a text widget about a million times but it won’t work.
I’m so sorry if you’re sick of seeing this question but i’m finding it all very confusing!!
Thank you very much :]]]Charlotte xxx

I’m sorry but you cannot use any javascript widgets on wordpress.com blogs. The software strips out the code to preserve security on this multisuer blogging platform. For stats programs (non-javascript) we can use please click this link http://onecoolsiteblogingtips.com/popular-posts/ and scroll down to “visitor tracking”.

To add any image to your sidebar you can use either an image widget or a text widget. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/ and here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/
