  I have a website called animetournament.com and it is a WordPress website. I want to input a banner on the first page and I need help doing that.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We cannot post any advertising “banners”. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.

  Do you mean a custom header image? If yes then see:

  The header image is 960 pixels wide and 262 pixels high.

  Do you mean a featured image? If yes then see here
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
  Featured images need to be at least 960 x 260 pixels to be displayed. Smaller sizes, while uploading, will not display on the front-end.

  Hi @ttaylor2435, you are in the wrong forum.
  This forum is for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.

  Oh FRAP! I did not click into http://animetournament.com/ until now and it’s not even hosted here.

  We provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and that site is not one of them. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you need help with a WordPress.ORG software install in the future and don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
