Adding a blog to an existing WP website

Hello there Don,
Your existing WordPress site already has a blog. All you need to do is add posts to that blog. You can do that by following this guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/posts/#how-to-create-a-new-postTo display them on a single page, you will need to create a dedicated blog page if you don’t already have one. You can check by going into My Site → Pages and seeing if there is a page titled “Blog”. If it’s not there you can create it by going to My Site → Pages then click Add New Page:
https://wordpress.com/support/pages/#create-a-new-pageAfter you create the page, you need to set it as your default post page so that the posts you create automatically get added there. You can do that by going into My Site → Appearance → Customize → Homepage Settings and under ‘Posts page’, select your Blog page.
Let me know if this helps!

Thank you luanluta996,
I may not have been as specific as I need to be. I realize that my website is already using a blogging feature. What I would like it to have a new additional blog that will appear on its own, new page. Also, that the blog have its own feed so that others can subscribe.I tried following your suggestions and discovered the all my posts were entered on a re-configured home page.

Hello again Don,
I apologize, I misunderstood. Looks like what you’re looking for is another blog separate from your main one.
This can be achieved by creating a new category for the new blog. Then you need to set this category to all the posts that you want to appear on the new blog. To add a new category you need to go to My Site → Settings then click on the Writing tab. Click on Categories, and then on Add New Category. You can see how to do it here:
https://wordpress.com/support/posts/categories/Once you create the category you can add it to your menu as its own separate page. You can do that by going to Go to My Site(s) → Appearance → Customize. In the Customizer, click the Menus tab. Open your menu (usually called Primary) click the “+ Add Items” button. Choose an item type (in your case Category) and simply add the category you just created. You can learn to do it here:
https://wordpress.com/support/menus/#add-menu-itemsSave settings and there you go. Your new category should now be in the main menu and all the posts within that category will display there.
Please note that these posts will still appear in your main blog. To stop this from happening you need to remove your main blog page and create another category like you just did and move all your existing blogs into that category. Then add it to the Menu and your blogs will be separate.
As for subscribing to only one of the blogs, I do not believe that it is possible at this time. I will flag this post so that a staff member sees it and can confirm this or offer a solution if there is one.
Let me know if this helped you.

Hello again,
I haven’t had the time to follow your advice but I want to thank you for it. Will followup shortly. -
@donmetznik, @luanluta996,
What I would like it to have a new additional blog that will appear on its own, new page.
Every WordPress.com is limited to one blog page or posts stream. You can’t add another blog page. That being said, the suggestion offered by @luanluta996, using Category Pages, is the closest thing available to being able to add another blog page. It’s a good workaround.
Some differences between the blog page and a category page:
- The blog page automatically displays every published post, regardless of the category or categories assigned to it, and also if no category is assigned. A category page displays only posts assigned a certain category.
- A category page can’t be chosen as the homepage, while the blog page can be.
- Features designed to display on the blog page of a theme might not be present on category pages of the same theme.
Also, that the blog have its own feed so that others can subscribe.
Category pages automatically have their own feeds. See the Your Feeds section of the Feeds support page.
