Adding a button for Skype

  Can I add a Skype button to my blog? Skype offers a chunk of html code that supposedly results in a clickable button that takes users directly to either a Skype call or chat — I tried adding it to my blog in a text widget, but all that appeared was the code. Is this possible?

  Hi there,

  It’s possible that the embed code used by Skype is not allowed at WordPress.com for security reasons. Can you check the list here and see if it’s on the list that is not allowed?
