I have the Custom Design upgrade and would like to add CSS code to include a by-line between the post headline and post header image. However, I have absolutely no experience with CSS. Would anyone know how to add this? I would like the text to be the same size and color as the date and comment text at the top of each post on the home page. Please help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

CSS is a styling document that the browsers use to position and style the various elements of a web page. It cannot be used to add functionality.

What you will have to do is to add a “byline” to the top of each post as you are writing them.

Fresh news does include an “about the author section at the end of the post on the single post pages (after clicking title or comment link on main page).

Thank you. I will just have to accept the layout.

Just my opinion, but I actually like a byline included at the top of the post content rather than in the metadata.
