adding a category

I am learning to use WordPress. There is a existing site already created and I am looking to make changes, additions, deletions, etc….

What I am stuck on now is addition a new category/navigation label to the home page. I already have Home, Wine, Spirits, Beer & Help. I want to add Contacts and it to line up next to the rest of the categories.

Also.. why under the menu structure do some say “customer” and some say “pages”?

    Thanks for your time

    Hi Barry,

First, it looks like you have two domains currently expiring on your account. You can see those here:

    https://mountroyallightblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

If you would like to still use those domains, I recommend renewing as soon as possible. Otherwise, you could end up having to pay a late fee of $80.

As for adding another page to your menu, first, you’ll want to actually create the page following the instructions here:

    Create a page

Then, follow the steps here to create a custom menu and add the new page to your site menu:

    Menus

Can you give those steps a try?

Also, if you could explain a bit more about what you mean by the following, I’m happy to explain!

why under the menu structure do some say “customer” and some say “pages”?
