Adding a clickable link to sidebar- some work some don’t – why?
-
I have added clickable 4 links to my sidebar. 2 work, 2 don’t and I can’t figure out why.
The 2 that DON’T work are like this ( anchor tag)a href=”http://promised-land-services.com/training.php?id=Cheri1″>LEARN HTML (ending with anchor tag)The ones that work are like this http://familybooksandbargains.ecrater.com
The 2 that work are my own sites. The 2 that don’t work are sites I recommend and i am on a counter kind of system and get points when poeple click on the link from my blog and go to that site.
I have these same links on another blog site I have and they work fine there.
So how do I fix the ones that don’t work?
Thanks

It looks like to me that you’re adding in these links via Dashboard -> Bookmarks -> Add Bookmark. Correct?
Try this:
URL -> http: //promised-land-services.com/training.php?id=Cheri1
Name -> LEARN HTML
Description -> If you want to learn HTML- this is the class you need to take. FREE and online and you can learn at your own pace. One step at a time!Note: Space added after the colon to get it to display correctly. It needs to be removed for the link to work when you add it in.
It looks like to me that you’re trying to put the entire link into the URL bar and that doesn’t work. I see a font tag in there as well as list tags. A URL is just a webaddress.
If this is not the method you are using, please state very specifically what you are doing and we can walk you through it.
