Adding a company database

    Hi,
    I have created a website on wordpress.com, with a free plan.
    My goal is not to remain free, but to make a demonstration to my boss how powerful wordpress could be, so we could switch to it and host it on our own server I think.
    What I wonder is, with the free wordpress version, is there a way to build a database, like a company database, with name, address, and so on?
