Adding a contributor
-
I asked someone to join my blog as a contributor. When he signed up with a wordpress account it thought he wanted to start his own blog.
Also, on a completely unrelated note, when I copy html tables wordpress doesn’t always fit them correctly. See, for example here, where I had to split a table into two.
-
It will also ask that of the contributor and it will ask them to create a username and all that crap, and at the bottom of the page there is an option to skip creating a blog. When he skips creating a blog then he will go to the wordpress front page and your blog will be on his dashboard. I will get back to you on the table thing I just wanted to mention about the contributor.

well I looked at the html and you have a lot of
<br /></br>
codes in the table, when I removed practically all of them then you table looked less…spaced out and all over the place. I would seem impossible to make your graphs fit on the page unless you re-size the graphs to make them smaller. -
Hmm, he already had an account for a different wordpress blog, but his password won’t log him in at my blog. If I sent him my password, would that allow him in or would that only word for my username?
-
no he can use his own password. Since he had his own account he still could have skipped creating blog and went to the dashboard. Maybe theres something else he was doing wrong. I recommend try the whole thing over again and see if it works the second time.

Possibilities:
1. The email address he gave you is a different one from the one for his current wordpress.COM password
2. He has a wordpress.ORG password, not a wordpress.COM one. -
I’ve now created a wordpress.COM account. Now, if I’m not yet signed in, the blog admin for Entitled to An Opinion lets me in, only to find me at a dashboard with no mention of the site. If I’m ALREADY logged in, the url for the Entitled to An Opinion admin site goes directly to said dashboard.
I’m yet to be added as a contributor…
