adding a contributor

    a friend has a blog and is trying add me as a contributor. I received the e-mail to join, but it’s not letting me link to his page. What steps do I need to do so that I can create a blog post on his site?

    What do you mean by it’s not letting you link to his page? Do you mean when you click the link to join it doesn’t do anything, or after you’ve accepted in invite it won’t let you post?

    Your friend will have to invite you in at least the contributor level for you to be able to post. Once he sends you the invite, you click the Accept Invitation button in the email. Mine ended up in my junk mail folder, just for reference.

    After clicking the Accept Invitation button you are redirected to the WP Admin page for that blog you’ve been invited to. From there you can post and perform other tasks as a member of that blog’s staff.
