Adding a domain I own to my wordpress.com blog

I purchased a domain through “Name Cheap” but I haven’t been able to add this domain to my already existing “wordpress.com” blog. My name cheap domain appears in the “Domains” via the “Settings”. I have also purchased the Mapping upgrades and tried to add the domain to my blog again. There is something about “Zone” that may need to be altered?
