Adding a domain : “not authorised”?

  I want to add the domain http://thedemocraticimage.opendemocracy.net to my wordpress blog http://thedemocraticimage.wordpress.com. The subdomain is already pointing to wordpress so it should work, but when trying to add it I get this message “you are not authorised to add subdomains to that domain”.

  Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Please?

  Please note that I’ve gone ahead and edited your URL for your blog. Please do not use the ‘www’ bit as the ‘thedemo…” bit takes the place of it. They should not be used together and will not work for many folks on the net as well as most search engine spiders.

  Are you the blog’s admin? Only the blog admin can add in a domain to a blog.
