Adding a .fi domain

  I would like to move my website to wordpress.com. I have an existing .fi domain, but it seems that it is not possible to connect a .fi domain to wordpress. Is this really so and if so will this be possible at some point?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  It is true that .fi TLDs are not allowed on WordPress.com.

  An alternative would be to map this .fi domain to WordPress.com. You would have to first upgrade to a paid plan. You can see more details under the links below:

  This is incorrect.

  We do not block any domain from being used on WordPress.com. It’s not possible to register a .fi domain with us, nor is it possible to transfer one to us, but there is nothing preventing you from connecting a .fi domain to a WordPress.com site via the domain mapping upgrade.

  Please be careful about making statements like that. Saying we don’t support registrations or transfers for a particular TLD is something completely different from saying we don’t allow the TLD. If you’re unsure, please rather tag the thread for staff.

  Apologies for not being too specific in my answer, of course, I didn’t mean to say that .fi TLDs are not allowed, I meant registration. Thank you for pointing it out.
