Adding a Follow My Blog button…Help!!

  I looked up how to add a follow button to my blog and the directions tell me go to Settings > Reading and that is where I can check the box to show the button on the lower right hand side of my page. The problem is I went to Settings and can not find the Reading link to click to get to the section where I can check that box. I went to settings for my account and for my theme….nothing. =(
