adding a footer (for logo's) in cubic template
-
hi everyone
i want to know if it’s possible to add a footer in the bottom of the homepage to display some logo..The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Hi batmaxime
We could use the the space in the white footer that appears when you scroll down. The height of the container can be increased if needed.
Have you uploaded the logos to your Media Library yet?
-
hi G471n thanx a lot for your advises and disponibility ;)
the logo’s are already uplaoded in the media libraby..
you mean that we can duplicate the header and create a footer..? cause i don’t have any white footer in my version.. -
-
-
Please send me links to the logo’s.
I’m talking about the white footer that appears when you scroll right down. It says “Propulsé par WordPress.com. | Thème Cubic.”

Go to the Media Library. Click on the image.
A window will pop up showing the image and on the right there should be information about the image.
Copy the URL – where it says “http://” and past it here.

Hi, give the following a try. This puts your logo image into the footer area where the WordPress.com and theme credits are. Given that you have Infinite Scroll active, for someone to see that logo, they will have to scroll all the say to the bottom of your content.
#colophon { background: url('https://testlaclak.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/leconomiste.jpg') no-repeat scroll center 15px transparent; min-height: 175px; } -
thank you very much sir, you realy help!!
can i put other logo’s with that technique..?
cause i need to put 10 logo’s.. -

hi sacred i have another question.. is my blog with cubic can be moved to a self hosting server..??
-
Hi, yes, you can move your content over to a self-hosted WordPress installation as outlined in this support page, and you can download Cubic from the Cubic Theme Showcase page.
-
thx i found the info, i wrote you in a moment of panic :)
so u think that the one image with ten logo inside technique will work..?thx a lot for your help
-
Yes, it will work. The only issue is how large it gets. We can set things so that it fits in the footer area, but on smaller screens it could become very small. Something to think about.
