Adding a footer to the twenty twelve template

  How do I add a footer to my blog? I want to move the information from a side bar widget to appearing on my footer. I have the Twenty Twelve theme. Thank you!

  I am interested in moving my copyright info to the footer instead of the side widget where it is currently residing.
