Adding a footer widget section

  I want to put my widgets in a footer, not on the side bar. How can I make a footer section for this?? I’m VERY new to blogging. HELP! And thanks in advance!

  Oh, I forgot to mention, I have the Sketch Theme. Thanks again!

  Welcome to WordPress.com!

  Please note that widget placement is more so dependent on the theme. It looks like the Sketch theme only support a sidebar widget as seen here:

  I searched for footer widget in our Themes page, and found these themes:
